Visitors Not Showing Up In Google Stats

In my WPD blog I have had almost 200 comments by visitors going to my blog and reading and commenting on the contents. When I check Google Analytics these visitors do not show up in the stats as there are only 30 odd unique visitors to the site and less than 200 in total!!
Can any one tell me what's wrong here please and what I need to do about it?
