No. Our Terms of Service Agreement does not give us ownership of any of your content.

We have not changed the T.O.S. at all since last year that I'm aware. Some folks brought up some wording issues that we addressed at the beginning of the 2008 Challenge.

That section basically says we don't have to chase every one of our 20,000 users to secure copyrights. This is mainly a risk limitation clause since it would be impractical if we had to. We don't have anything that harvests content off your sites, and we don't have any intention of making something that does that. It would be stupid to do so and it would kill our business.

I was about to submit a ticket to that effect. These answers are reassuring - except that they appear here and not in the TOA, which I should think is where they belong. I shouldn't think it would be hard or problematic (legally or otherwise) if you said something to that effect, something simple, like "This in no way is meant to construe an ownership interest in your content, rather it's intended to protect our copyright interests in our work/system/whatever."
