How do I add an Aweber opt-in form to the Sales Offer area of my blog?

You need to obtain your opt-in code from Aweber or another source.
You will create a new blank text widget and paste this code into the widget on your sidebar.
To add new text widgets to your sidebar, first log in here: http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
(where "mydomain" is your domain)
(Your login information is on the Website Settings page of your WPD dashboard)
Find "Text" on the list in the middle.
Click "Add" to bring it to the right side.
Now, on the right side, click "Edit".
Paste your code and click "Done"
Click "Save Changes"
Your code should now be rendering correctly on your website's sidebar.

The site above is getting a 404 error code - help!

Hi Kristie,
The site above doesn't actually exist because mydomain.com is intended to be a placeholder for your own domain (which varies from customer to customer). So simply replace mydomain with your actual domain name in the above URL, and it will work.
Thanks,

RE: Jeffery's instructions on entering an opt-in form on the side bar
We would ad a banner to the side bar in the same way? Instead of the opt-in code, we would put the code for a clickable banner?

Peter,
Thanks so much, but when I add the text widget to the sidebar and paste in the aweber code, this is the same message I get after three attempts?
Are you sure you want to do this? Try again.
Any help would be appreciated!

That is the worst answer I don't know what the hell he is talking about , I wanted to know if I can an the Awber to my WPD blog and this guy has me on the worpress site talking about moving widgets, how the hell do you put the aweber on the owrdpress dirst site>

I followed this approach from Jeffrey and it was really easy. I set up a new autoresponder in Aweber, then did the steps and have an autoresponder on my blog. Really quick and easy.

I too followed the "Exact Steps" as Jeffrey instructed, and had Absolutely no problems whatsoever! It really couldn't have been any easier...
I guess some people just can't follow directions...
Anyhow, I thought those directions were AWESOME! and wanted to say Thank You,
Billy

Am I limited with the 30DC discounted WPD acct? I don't have the "add", "edit" or "done" options noted in the instructions above.

I understand your confusion if you have never been into the 'admin'
area of your own blog. The instructions are related to logging in
to "your blog admin area" and adding the 'text widget'.
It's really quite a simple operation. I usually just drag the text
widget to the column I wish to put it in. It then opens and let's me
input my text.
