How do I get AdSense to show up?

The first step is to obtain an AdSense ID from Google.
https://www.google.com/adsense/
It should look like this:
pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Second, place your ID in the "Website Settings" page of your WPDirect dashboard.
Click "Save Website Settings" at the bottom of the page.
Third, visit the "Manage Plugins" page and make sure that you have the WPD AdSense plugin installed and active. You can double check that it is activated by logging into wp-admin and visiting the plugins page.
If your ads are still not showing up, disable any other AdSense plugins that you have active. This includes both the Advertising Manager plugin and the AdSense Manager plugin.
If your ads are still not showing up, switch to a new theme or reinstall a fresh version of your theme so that the AdSense plugin can create an ad unit to associate with the theme.

You can now create your own customized AdSense ads on the "Ads & Banner Setup" page of the WPDirect dashboard. Scroll to the bottom section called "Insert an Ad." You can select Adsense from the Ad Type dropdown menu.
We recommend that you disable the WPD AdSense plugin and use WPD Ads Manager instead.

sorry did not work !! This is supose to be a easy auto blog program so far nothing but work to get up and running.

Hi Dan,
I feel the same as you. This is not an easy system and it is difficult to get answers. Which is too bad because potentially this program could be awesome (I mean WPD not the 30DC because that is awesome).
My theme according to the template provided by WPD was supposed to show the ads in the column on the left. I added my number to the website settings. (made a mistake at first but then added the right number). Nothing worked as suggested above. My ads did not show automatically.
So I had to finally follow the second post by Jeffery, disabled all the WPD auto things and I went into the Ads and Banner set up and inputed my ads there as per Jeffery's instructions.
It did work.
Best of luck to you Dan with this not so easy system.
