I want to sell my blog, I saw a video on the 30DC that you can sell your blog and add value by installing the auto posting plugins that WPD offers. However.... how does the person manage the plugin after you sell it to them? I so no where in the admin control panel anywhere to manage the plugin if you don't have a WPD account. I checked the plugins tab in the wordpress dashboard tab... but there is no where that the person can manage this plugin like we can right inside the our WPdirect accounts.

How does this add any value? dont they need a WPD account so that they can manage all of the auto posting plugins you are advertising when selling the blog? All I can see in the wordpress control panel is activate or deactivate plugin... I see no control panel like we have in our WPdirect accounts.

I am very interested in the response you got? and follow up to this question.
Please let me know WPD team, what or when the video is available.

Actually you cant. The person you sell it to will not have access to the plugin control panel. I thought that you could use the control panel URL and give him the license number... but you need to be a WPD member.( I will test this). I am not 100% sure on this but those plugins are licensed plugins so if you go to www.yoursite.com/youtube2wordpress ( the non WPD control panel ) I dont think it will be active once you transfer the site from WPD. So the answer is NO as these plugins are licensed to you. Unless you are able to create a separate password and copy the license key to give him... then maybe, not 100% sure, but one other member had said you need to be a WPD member to use the plugins.

There is an alternative for all the auto posting plugins at http://www.wprobot.net/ cheaper than WPD because it is a one time cost... no need for monthly payments and the control panel is installed and managed right inside your wordpress dashboard after you login to wp-admin.

ALl of the plugins WPD provides are available else where and cheaper, so I if you are going to sell your site get the plugins else where. WPD is good if you are a newbie and if you need fast wordpress installs, also it is a one stop place to manage all of your sites especially if you are building a blog farm. However, it is much better to learn wordpress and install the plugins yourself, WPD is way too expensive for what you get.

Nathan,

That is an interesting reply. I am surprised it hasnt been moderated away yet!

However, to add balance to your argument, i will say that while WPD is not cheap, I continue to pay the monthly fee because I make use of the professional support team when things go horribly wrong.

Unfortunately that happens all too often in this game, but when it does, I know I have a team of professionals who can give me advice. That, more than anything, is what I pay the money for.

All the best
