Where does Google get the text it shows with my URL?

I want to change it so that the next time Google indexes my site it gets the new text.

Hi Phil.

This information is taken from the text you have in the Description field on your Website Settings page. If you update that field, the next time Google indexes your site you should see the changes reflected in your listing.
