does anybody know if these two systems conflict with each other? i am getting no data on goals in google analytics, but i am getting responses from pretty links.

If you are having trouble with part of Google Analytics, you will have to consult their knowledgebase to troubleshoot it. They are a different company with a different support system. If you can confirm that your pretty links are working properly and tracking in WPDirect, then you will know that the issue is related to Analytics.
