I've had my web hosting company look at this and they tell me everything looks good on their end. Can you assist.

Yeah - Me Too! Today is the 18th December. Does anybody have a solution to this problem yet? I have emailed Hostgator three times and they just seem to fob me off. Nobody seems willing to seriously help me. I've tried everything that Hostgator have suggested, so now I'm thinking maybe it's not Hostgator, maybe it's WordPress Direct. Anyway, I'd sure appreciate it if anybody has managed to solve this ongoing annoyance. I'm going to do the same as Victoria and post a ticket too.
Thanks and regards,
Jen from 'Down Under'
